Internet Dating; Take Heed Of These Red Flags

By Astrid Engels

The first step in internet dating is creating a profile; you post some photos of yourself, and you list your personal characteristics. You include some interesting facts about yourself and perhaps a funny anecdote or two to show off your sense of humor. And if you're at all blessed with the gift of the gab, you can probably write a novella about your life while you're at it.

When that's complete, you start searching for your dream date. Using the site's search engine, you fill in the "must haves" and wait while the dating site returns its results. Usually only a few seconds go by until a list of profiles is displayed.

But before you get too cozy reading these profiles, there are a few things you should be on the lookout for; red flags that can make or break a relationship. Personal characteristics that can reveal someone's not so flattering side.

Too much sarcasm. We're all guilty of occasionally using sarcasm in the guise of a joke to poke a bit of fun at someone. Provided we do so discreetly, it's usually harmless. But if the guy or gal you're considering dating has nothing good to say about anyone in his or her life, what makes you think they'll talk about you any differently?

Past relationships. Almost everyone has had one, and that in itself is not an issue. But if your date has a half a dozen scary relationship stories, it should send up a red flag. You've likely had one or two of your own, and hopefully you've learned a thing or two, which is all perfectly normal. But someone who is a perennial victim is not likely to have learned anything from past mistakes.

Inappropriate Anger. Hey we all get angry sometimes, so what's the big deal? Run of the mill anger isn't an issue, but inappropriate anger is. People who get angry at anything and everything rarely take responsibility for their own happiness; they'd rather blame others. And sooner or later you're going to be in the line of fire.

Polar Opposites. It's true that opposites attract, but some differences are just too great to ignore. Big issues about which you are on opposite sides of the fence like religion, whether or not to have children, and drinking and drugs, are relationship killers. You may have fun in the short term, but long term? Not so much.

Dating and internet dating is all about getting to know someone. Figuring out whether that person as a whole "fits" you. Your choosing someone to spend your life with, so choose wisely!

Three Important Ways to Learn Clairvoyance

By Luke Hounsome

Is it really possible for anyone to learn clairvoyance? To a certain extent, yes. To understand what we mean by this, we need to clarify what we mean by clairvoyance, and what we mean by being able to 'learn' it.

Part of the confusion comes from the fact that the term 'clairvoyance' has several different means, depending on who you ask. The most common definitions are remote viewing (being able to see things that are happening far away without the use of technology or the five human senses), or precognition (being able to see events happening in the future). At its most basic level, however, clairvoyance simply means being able to know information about a person, object, location, or event without using any of your five senses. Think of clairvoyance as a sixth sense.

Some people really are able to see, hear, smell, feel and even taste things about the past or future that they could not possibly know. No one knows how this might work and science is often at a loss when it comes to figuring out how much this might mean. Remember that though there are many metaphysical theories for why this happens, there is seldom any sort of agreement that might happen along the way. One thing that most of the theories agree on is that the people who can sense the future or the past this way are simply born this way. They have talents that might evidence themselves from a very young age or they might have come across them later.

Can anyone learn to remote viewing or see the future? No. Can anyone learn to develop and hone their sixth sense? Yes.

All people have a certain degree of clairvoyant sixth sense. This often manifests as an indescribable 'hunch' or 'feeling' that people can't logically explain. You may hear people say, for example, 'I've got a bad feeling about this,' or 'I don't know why, but I've got a feeling we can trust him.' Unfortunately, many people ignore their sixth sense, deferring to logic or emotion rather than their gut instinct.

When you are looking for scientific explanation, you'll find that there are plenty of theories on why we develop hunches and instincts. Some people say that rather than being of supernatural, psychic or paranormal origin, it is in fact your subconscious mind picking up on cues that you are not aware of. Your subconscious mind, because it does not speak in words, will then convey these feelings and impressions to you in a way that will get the point across. This can be a valuable tool when you are looking at developing clairvoyance, because it can tell you to trust your subconscious.

Whether your sixth sense is based in paranormal psychic ability or brain neurochemistry (or both) is ultimately unimportant. The point is that clairvoyance exists, everyone has it to a certain degree, and anyone can develop and hone their clairvoyant ability if they choose to. Here are three ways to do so.

Step 1: Look Around

The problem that many people run into is that they go through their day so very focused on their tasks that they never see anything else. There are so many small details that can tell us so much, but if you refuse to take the time to look, you'll find that you are letting your sixth sense wither. When you go to improve your perception, you will be able to take in more of the world around you. There are definitely advantages to being aware, so take a moment to really look around yourself.

This takes practice, however. There are a few things you can do to try to increase your perception. First, slow down a bit. Try to relax, clam yourself, and move at a more leisurely pace in your daily activities. Second, remove distractions designed to occupy your senses. For example, instead of listening to the radio in the car while driving, drive in silence. With nothing else to occupy your senses and thoughts, you'll become more aware of the world around you"the weather, the neighborhood you're driving in, and that car behind you moving into your blind spot.

A mini meditation session might be precisely what you need when you are thinking about clearing your head. Close your eyes, take a deep breath and make yourself relax. When your eyes open, you will be able to see a lot more with regards to the world around you. This can make a lot of difference .

Step 2: Meditation

Try to meditate at least 30 minutes a day. The idea behind meditation is to occupy and clear your conscious mind, and let your subconscious mind rise to the surface to do its work and communicate with your conscious mind People who meditate report feeling relaxed and refreshed when they are done.

When you are thinking about meditation, though, you'll discover that it is a lot easier said than done. You might find that you sit down and suddenly there are a number of things that are all calling for our attention. You might feel as though you are being silly or that you are doing it wrong. Remember that there are tools that can guide you, so take some time and focus and find a mantra.

Remember that when you want to meditate, your senses can distract you. Every sound that you hear or emotion that you might be experiencing can distract you. What can you focus on? Lots of people start with a candle flame. There is not a lot to see and the flicker of the candle flame gives you something to focus on while staying relatively still. This might be precisely what you need.

Remember that your brain never shuts down, and this is something that can work for you rather than against you. A mantra is a series of words, whether it is a phrase,a poem or a prayer, that you can repeat over and over again. It will let your brain occupy itself while you are meditating and it can trigger a meditative state for you if you practice it firmly enough. Some people will use the prayers that they learned as children while other people will simply use the song lyrics that they love.

Step 3: Trust Yourself

At the end of the day, you are not getting very far if you do not trust yourself. Don't doubt what you see or feel and make sure that you don't dismiss your feelings as being the product of an overactive imagination. Remember that you get hunches and feelings for a reason and that your subconscious mind is definitely trying to tell you something. What does your subconscious mind want to let you know?

This is not going to be easy, but the ore you listen and the more you trust your instincts, the better of you are going to be. You can encourage and nurture your sixth sense into developing and maturing.

8 Steps to Getting a Cartoon Animation Series Produced

By Cody Landon

If you're involved in the universe of animation as a rising animator then more than likely, one of your better aspirations is to getting a cartoon animation series produced. If you of a realistic nature you also realize that it's not going to be very easy but its possible.

Step one : Allow your imagination to flow. You need to come up with an idea for your series. Being as its a series you need an on-going theme. Probably if you look back at your old sketchings, you will see where you drew maybe an action figure doing some different things. The theme is what your action figure does. Presently you'll need to build your theme and once you do this, it becomes your foundation.

Step 2 : By nature, there're going to have to be various characters in your series. You are going to require to think about all of them and what role will they play. This doesnt imply youre designing the plot of the story, it implies you're assigning traits to your characters.

Step 3 : Nearly all of the cartoon animators dont consider themselves good at script writing. This's where they'll rely on an expert in that field. Your job would be to present him with your theme and your thoughts regarding that theme. Your script-writer is the one who brings your characters to life. He would do this by using the traits youve offered him. Be certain your choice of script-writer is one that's well versed in this kind of writing.

Step four : One of the key components of your success is making your characters fantastic. You can enlist the services of a great design enterprise for this segment of your project. They almost have to become family names. Hopefully to the point where various products would be designed after them. Imagine a super hero you've erected becoming the greatest action figure on the market. I will class that as the supreme success.

Step 5 : Youre very close to the point of presently compiling your character bible. This's where you set out to put things into action. This book, which has at present become a genuinely valuable commodity of yours, will contain each of the info you've collected so far from the different venues you hired. You'll take your character bible to an animation house in the hopes of having a pilot episode created.

Step 6 : Now you would have attained a decision making period. You could find a distribution firm with your pilot to see how sellable the completed version would be.

Step seven : Some other choice to a distribution corporation would be to approach the television media to see if there will be whatsoever interest by them to develop your show. Here is the step where you've to be confident in your work. You know it's great and now youve to sell others on that very fact. . Step eight : As you could see, you have a long route ahead of you and there are costs involved. You simply have to be determined enough and believe in yourself and your work and go for it.
